Goût d’Anvers is a 100% Belgian brand designed in Antwerp, the fashion capital of Belgium. We put together the rich history of Antwerp with its vivid fashion industry to create our brand. Our logo is based on a coin that was minted by Napoleon after the occupation of Antwerp. The siege took place in the 19th Century, a period known for luxurious fashion. The French emperor liked his court to look splendid at all times, making sure they are dressed in the finest materials. That is what our collections are all about: creating authentic, trendy and wearable designs for elegant women. They come in fashionable colours and are made of great quality fabrics. THE LAUREL The laurel in our logo stems from the coin that was minted by Napoleon in 1814 after the occupation of Antwerp. The laurel was used in Ancient Rome as a symbol of victory. The N for Napoleon in the coin was replaced by a G to symbolize our brand.
